Professor Kazuhiro Marumoto of Institute of Pure and Applied Sciences has been awarded the 2024 Academic Award from the Society of Electron Spin Science and Technology in Japan. He was recognized for his development of operando electron spin resonance methods for organic-inorganic devices and his research into novel phenomena.

This award is presented to an individual who has achieved outstanding results in the field of electron spin science and whose achievement has earned him an extremely high academic acclaim.
