Procedure for Degree Application

Please submit your application documents in accordance with the instructions of your affiliated degree program/sub-program/major.

Please read the examples carefully and prepare your documents without errors.

Doctoral Degree by Dissertation (論文博士 Ronbun Hakase)

The “Doctoral Degree by Dissertation (論文博士 Ronbun Hakase)” is awarded to a person who is not currently enrolled at the University, but who is deemed to have academic ability equivalent or superior to that of a doctoral degree holder.
